What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a natural compound found in the hemp plant. Unlike THC, CBD does not cause a high feeling. It is non-psychoactive and is used as part of a natural wellness routine to support relaxation, sleep, focus and general well-being.
What is the difference between CBD, CBN and CBG?
CBD (cannabidiol) is the most well-known cannabinoid, used for general wellness, stress, sleep and pain support. CBN (cannabinol) forms naturally when THC oxidises and is popular specifically for sleep – it promotes muscle relaxation and a heavy, sleepy feeling. CBG (cannabigerol) is studied for focus support and inflammatory or neuropathic pain. At Pure CBD4U we offer all three.
Does CBD make you high?
No. CBD does not cause any psychoactive effect. Our products contain less than 0.05% THC, which is within the legal limit in the Netherlands and well below the level that could cause any psychoactive effect.
Is CBD legal?
Yes. CBD products are legal in the Netherlands and across the European Union, provided the THC content stays below the legal threshold. All Pure CBD4U products contain less than 0.05% THC, complying with Dutch and EU regulations. Customers are responsible for checking local laws before importing products.
Is CBD a medicine?
No. CBD is not a medicine and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. Our products are wellness supplements. Always consult your doctor if you have a medical condition or take prescription medication.
How long does it take before CBD starts working?
CBD taken sublingually (under the tongue) is absorbed within 15-45 minutes. For consistent results, allow 1-3 weeks of daily use – CBD builds up gradually in the body’s endocannabinoid system. Many users notice subtle changes within the first week.
What is the endocannabinoid system?

What is the entourage effect?

This is why full spectrum CBD oil – which contains a complete range of cannabinoids including trace amounts of THC – is often preferred over CBD isolate (pure CBD only).

What is the difference between full spectrum and broad spectrum CBD oil?
Full spectrum CBD oil contains all cannabinoids naturally present in hemp, including CBD, trace amounts of THC (below 0.05%), terpenes and flavonoids – giving the strongest entourage effect and is our most popular range. Broad spectrum CBD oil is identical but with the THC completely removed. It is preferred by athletes, people subject to drug testing, or those who want to avoid any THC. Both are high quality.
Which CBD strength is right for me?
5% is ideal for beginners. 10% is our most popular – known as the sweet spot. 20% is for experienced users wanting stronger effects with fewer drops. 30% is maximum strength for the highest potency or best value per mg CBD.
Are all products always in stock?
Yes. All products listed on our website are always available and ready to ship immediately.
Are your products lab tested?
Yes. Every batch is independently tested by third-party laboratories. You can find the full Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every product on our website. Each product also has a QR code on the packaging that links directly to the lab results for that specific batch.
Why do you use opaque bottles and laser-engraved droppers?
Light degrades cannabinoids over time. Many standard brown glass bottles still allow light through, reducing potency. Our fully opaque bottles protect the oil. Our droppers are laser-engraved rather than ink-printed, eliminating the risk of ink contamination in the oil – a common issue with lower-quality products.
What extraction method do you use?
We use CO2 extraction – the cleanest and most advanced method in the industry. This preserves the full cannabinoid profile without residues or solvents, unlike cheaper extraction methods.
Dosage
How do I take CBD oil?
Place the drops under your tongue and hold for 60-90 seconds before swallowing. This sublingual absorption is the fastest and most efficient method – the active compounds enter the bloodstream directly, bypassing the digestive system.
How many drops should I take?
Dosage is personal and depends on your body weight, experience with CBD, and your goal. A general starting point is 2-3 drops of 5% or 10% oil once daily. Build up gradually over 1-2 weeks.
How many mg CBD is in one drop?
This depends on the strength: 5% = 2.5mg per drop | 10% = 5mg per drop | 20% = 10mg per drop | 30% = 15mg per drop.
When is the best time to take CBD?
For sleep: 30-60 minutes before bed. For focus: morning with breakfast. For physical recovery: morning and after activity. For general wellness or stress: morning and/or evening. Consistency is key – take CBD at the same time each day for best results.

Which product is best for sleep?

How does CBD help with sleep?

Is CBD safe for dogs and cats?
Yes, when used correctly. CBD oil is generally well tolerated by most animals. It is important to use products specifically formulated for pets – our pet CBD oils are broad spectrum and completely THC-free. THC can be toxic for dogs and cats. Always start with a low dose and increase gradually. Consult your vet before use, especially if your pet takes medication.
Why is THC dangerous for pets?
Cats and dogs process cannabinoids differently from humans. Their nervous systems are much more sensitive to THC. Even small amounts can cause loss of coordination, tremors and serious neurological symptoms. This is why all Pure CBD4U pet products are broad spectrum with zero THC – tested and verified.
How do I dose CBD oil for my dog or cat?
Dosage depends on body weight and the level of support needed.
Which situations is pet CBD used for?
The most common uses are: anxiety and stress (fireworks, thunderstorms, vet visits, travel, moving home, new animals in the house), mobility and joint support in senior animals, general daily wellness, and appetite support. For cats, we recommend starting a CBD routine 2-3 weeks before a stressful event for best results.
Can I give my pet human CBD oil?
We strongly advise against this. Human full spectrum CBD oil contains trace amounts of THC, which can be harmful to pets. Always use products specifically formulated for animals with confirmed THC-free certification.

Shipping and delivery
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders of EUR 60 or more, for both the Netherlands and all European countries. For orders below EUR 60, a standard shipping fee applies.
How quickly will I receive my order?
Netherlands: within 1 business day. Rest of Europe: 5-7 business days. Orders are processed the same day when placed on a business day.
Do you ship to all European countries?
Yes. We deliver to all European Union countries. Customers outside the Netherlands are responsible for checking local import regulations for CBD products.
How can I track my order?

Returns and refunds
Can I return a product?
Yes, within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, the product must be unused, unopened, in its original packaging with the seal intact. Opened or used CBD products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
How do I start a return?
Contact us at info@purecbd4u.com with your full name, order number, reason for return, and photos if the product arrived damaged. After approval, you will receive return instructions.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product arrived damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked shipping method – Pure CBD4U is not responsible for lost return shipments.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect the returned products, we process the refund within 14 days via the original payment method. Original shipping costs are not refunded unless required by law.
What if my product arrived damaged?
